Abstract
These data files include concentration measurements of total mercury (THg), filtered total mercury (filtTHg), and filtered methylmercury (filtMeHg) at the Soapstone, Woodland, and Hailstone sites along the upper Provo River. Data was collected during the 2016 and 2017 water years, with the Soapstone and Hailstone sites having a few samples from the 2015 water year. Samples were collected and analyzed monthly during baseflow, and at higher frequencies during snowmelt runoff (typically March-July). FiltTHg and Filt MeHg samples were filtered though a 0.45 µm filter, and are considered to be the "dissolved" fraction of mercury and methylmercury.
