Abstract
This resource presents models of flow and sediment transport around nature-based solutions (NBS) and bridge piers, focusing on engineered log jams (ELJs) and solid piers. Using RANS coupled with the immersed boundary method, it investigates the interactions between hydrodynamics and sediment transport to predict maximum scour depth.
Instructions: To run the simulations, users must compile the ibScourFoam solver in OpenFOAM-5.x.
