This is visualization of flood maps of Ohio river reach generated from FIMServe by feeding NWM return period forecast values

The database file is the NWM_FIM.db file, and it is also available as a JSON file as NWM_FIM.json.

The file NWM_FIM_vis.json is used to load the database as a scenario into the visualization tool.

The rating curves are the CSV files in the resource, and the individual rasters and shapefiles are the extent, depth, and water surface elevation files.

The file naming system is set up so that it is FIMSourceID-RatingCurveID-type-flow.

Type is Extent (EXT), Depth (DEP), Water Surface Elevation (WSE), Velocity (VEL), or Boundary (BND).

Data Services

The following web services are available for data contained in this resource. Geospatial Feature and Raster data are made available via Open Geospatial Consortium Web Services. The provided links can be copied and pasted into GIS software to access these data. Multidimensional NetCDF data are made available via a THREDDS Data Server using remote data access protocols such as OPeNDAP. Other data services may be made available in the future to support additional data types.
