Abstract
This HydroShare Resource presents a study on the Lake Conroe Dam release following Hurricane Harvey. This decision released an unprecedented amount of water that flooded thousands of homes downstream. This has since been a point of contention for homeowners with many filing lawsuits against the San Jacinto River Authority and the Texas Water Development Board. This study will analyze what happened with the dam release and what would have happened had the dam not existed at all.
