Model Domain Subsetter
ABSTRACT:
This learning module is designed to help users, learners, and instructors learn how to operate on timeseries data in the CUAHSI infrastructure ecosystem. The data contained in this resource was downloaded from Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Reserve's database. The readme file is supplied by WBNERR to accompany the data.
To use this resource, make a copy to your workspace using the "Copy this resource" option at the top right of the page. This will create a copy of the resource in "My resources" where it can be used and operated on independently from this original resource.
ABSTRACT:
This resource includes stream chemistry for Dead Run, Baltimore County, Maryland. This data set is part of the Urban Critical Zone Cluster in the NSF Critical Zone Collaborative Network. Stream grab samples are collected biweekly and analyzed for alkalinity, total organic carbon, dissolved organic carbon, total nitrogen, total dissolved nitrogen, bromide, chloride, fluoride, nitrate-nitrogen, nitrite-nitrogen, orthophosphate phosphorous, and sulfate. Stream sampling sites are co-located with USGS stream gaging stations 01589315 (DR4), 01589312 (DR5), and 01589330 (DRKR). Data are collected for the purpose of (1) trend analysis as a function of space and time; (2) evaluation of the effects of regional geology, anthropogenic perturbations, and weathering processes on stream chemistry; and (3) comparison with stream chemistry from other sites in the Urban CZ cluster.

ABSTRACT:
This is the abstract of of an example resource, it contains 1 file of dummy data.
ABSTRACT:
This collection contains modules, teaching materials, and app use examples covering CUAHSI infrastructure.
ABSTRACT:
This collection contains legacy documents archived from CUAHSI's website during the 2021-2022 website migration. These documents pertain to the founding and mission of CUAHSI. Upon creation this collection will contain nine PDF documents, and may be added to again in the future if the need arises.
ABSTRACT:
This document is adapted from the iUTAH Research Data Policy (Horsburgh and Jones, 2017), which was adopted by a large group of collaborative researchers in Utah working on an NSF-funded research project. It is offered here for potential general use in defining research products and data sharing workflows. This document is intended to be used as an example from which specific data policies, timing, and best practices for data sharing can be defined and adopted for research projects like the Critical Zone Collaborative Network Thematic Cluster projects.

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this module is to give users the ability to perform simple, repeatable actions in Matlab online through its association with HydroShare, and demonstrate discovering and using data, and performing operations on data within the CUAHSI data ecosystem. To begin the module, download the instructions document.
This Module will also utilize the built in HydroShare library, which is used to communicate between CUAHSI’s Matlab online and HydroShare at the resource level.
In this module, learners will discover a resource in HydroShare that contains rainfall data and ready to use MATLAB code, and use MATLAB online to create a unit hydrograph. Students will then use MATLAB online to store the results of their analysis in the same Hydroshare resource, and go through the steps of sharing their results to a group.
