ABSTRACT:
This product was developed using the monthly gridded (0.1° x 0.1°) precipitation and evapotranspiration PISCO dataset and the GR2M model. The product has coverage throughout the Peruvian territory including transboundary basins with neighboring countries. The GR2M model simulates mean monthly flows in 3596 river reaches to obtain a fine representation at the national scale. The model was calibrated and validated using observed monthly flow records from 43 stations fluviometric stations during the period 1981 - 2020. Flow simulations will be yearly updated for users.
