ABSTRACT:
This project contains the code and data necessary to perform a comprehensive analysis of groundwater levels using the Lagging Theory and a Transfer Function-Noise (TFN) model. The analysis is centered around the examination of groundwater time series data in an unconfined aquifer with limited pumping information.
ABSTRACT:
SDSD - A code for predicting the pump-induced drawdown in an aquifer near a fully- or zero-penetrating stream experiencing the stream drawdown.
The SDSD is written in the script of Mathematica. It includes two solutions for describing the drawdown distribution due to pumping in an aquifer near a fully- or zero-penetrating stream experiencing the stream drawdown.
ABSTRACT:
TFLUX - Mathematica code for estimating transient vertical groundwater flux (VGF) through a new 1-D heat transfer model
The TFLUX includes a new 1-D heat transfer model with a new approach, that can estimate the transient groundwater flux although flux in the model is assumed constant in time. The TFLUX has a new top boundary condition allowing to reflect the complex temperature variation in time.
Contents
The Mathematica scripts that are used to:
- Generating TD profiles from synthetic infiltration experiment with time-varying flux.
- Estimating the transient VGF from the TD profiles.
