ABSTRACT:
These data were used using the Kriging geostatistical methodology to reduce the spatial scale of a series of daily meteorological variables in the Department of Cauca, such as total precipitation and maximum, minimum and average temperature. The scaling process was applied to the available databases of satellite information and reanalysis sources, specifically ERA5-Land (European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts) and MSWX (Multi-Source Weather). The 0.1° resolution provided by the MSWX and ERA5-Land databases was successfully downscaled to 0.01° on all variables.
