This HydroShare resource includes a Jupyter notebook file containing a Python script for analyzing streamflow data from the USGS gaging site '10137500' at the South Fork of the Ogden River. The script utilizes the pandas library for data manipulation and matplotlib for visualization. It computes various streamflow metrics, such as annual mean, maximum, and minimum values, along with daily flow percentiles, to assess drought severity in the Ogden River area during the year 2021. By comparing 2021 streamflow data with historical records, the script provides insights into drought severity based on the USGS drought severity scale. Notable findings reveal significant deviations in streamflow patterns during 2021, indicating moderate to severe hydrological drought conditions.
