ABSTRACT:
This resource holds files from a nwm 2.0 spinup run over the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest. NLDAS2 forcings collected from GES DISC were used over the time of 2010-01-01 to 2010-12-31. NoahMP restart files exist every two days with hydro restart files output every two hours. It should be noted that Lakeparms were not used in this run of the NWM, however the domain lacks lakes so this should not affect the output.

ABSTRACT:
This zip contains three model runs of the nwm 1.2 in analysis assimilated configuration. The model underwent a spin-up period of 1 year (2010) using default setting prior to these three runs. NLDAS2 data was used for forcing and was unadjusted for these three model runs. Inside the zipped directory you will find three directories that pertain to the three model runs. There is a control model run where no channel parameters were adjusted and two other model runs where a constant scalar was multiplied against the channel parameter 'BtmWdth' in the Route_link.nc file. The two scalars are 0.5 and 0.7. These were chosen with the knowledge that in version 2.0,of the nwm, bottom width is equal to 0.6 * top width that is calculated using a power equation found in Blackburn-Lynch 2011.

ABSTRACT:
NWM v2.0 Pocono test case with restart and 6 months of forcing. Restart file was generated from running the model from 2017-01-01 to 2017-12-31 using NLDAS2 forcings. 6 months of NLDAS2 forcings which have been regridded are included.
