ABSTRACT:
Included are a series of asynchronous lectures covering the basics of groundwater and contaminant transport in groundwater. They replace five days of content typically covered in Hydroscience, which is a required course for undergraduate students at the junior or senior level majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Madison.
ABSTRACT:
These homework assignments are used in the "Ecohydrology of Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems" Module of CUASHI Virtual University taught by Steve Loheide of the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Assignment #1 characterizes the effects that vegetation have on hydrology/groundwater by quantifying the groundwater component of ET. Assignment #2 characterizes the effects that hydrology/groundwater have on vegetation by predicting the vegetation composition based on the groundwater regime.
